KHVT is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the construction of free public skateboard parks in the St. Louis, Mo. area, and to promoting skateboarding as a fun, healthy activity for both youths and adults.

KHVT was founded in support of the Kinghighway D.I.Y. skatespot, built between 2009 and 2015 by local skateboarders under the South Kinghshighway viaduct. When "the bridge" was demolished in July 2015, St. Louis was left with no free public skateparks. Since then, KHVT has built one new park, the Peter Mathews Memorial Skate Garden, and is working to create even more. Donations of time, labor, materials and money are welcome!

We need over 500 cinder blocks so be on the look out! They can be found in alleys, torn down buildings and at Home Depot! Every single one helps so please bring them to the bridge and leave them by the building materials pile!!!!  Thx B.

*** ALL HANDS ON DECK!!!!!! ***

We have a very generous donation of 8 yards of crete coming on Thursday July 15th from Brian Schnuck. We need all the help we can get to handle it, so bring any tools ya might have such as wheelbarrows, shovels, trowels, floats, knee boards, mags, gloves and of course man power! Tell your friends!!! Trife Street, Memphis DIY STL tour Video

Saturday July 10th @ 7pm, TV shoot for Living STL

We were recently contacted by Living St. Louis, a show on channel 9, about them doing an episode on our park. Come out possibly get interviewed and throw hammers for the TV. The more people there the better we look so come support us by doing what we like to do best,  SK8!!!! thx B.

*** Work Day Thursday, July 8 ***

Tomorrow all day come help us put up forms, do dirt work and build walls in order to get ready for a concrete truck. Pre mix is way cheaper but in order to use it we need to have things already formed up and ready to go. Here is your chance to learn something and help out!!! Also if you have any scrap 2x4's, plywood, cinder blocks or mortar mix bring it! Be prepared to get dirty!   thx,  B.

KHVT is officially a Non Profit Corporation!!!!!!

As of July 2nd 2010 the KHVT is officially a Non Profit organization according to Robin Carnahan the Secretary of State of Missouri!!!! Thanks out to all of our Board members and a special KHVT thanks out to Brian Beck our skateboarding Attorney!!!! There are great things in our future!!! Stay tuned.......      B.
